RAF Museum London improves lighting at historic Grahame-White Factory hanger

The building is the UK's first aircraft factory, purpose-built at Hendon by Claude Grahame-White in 1917. It includes the surviving quarter of the original factory, which was carefully relocated onto the Museum site. It also has all the original metal roofing, doors, windows and other fittings. Working closely with the museum we designed and installed a new low energy LED lighting scheme replacing the existing 400W SON fixtures and reducing the the harmful UV emissions from the the lighting to zero. ExCeL London Expands LED lighting retrofit ahead of London 2012 Olympics with new Dialight fixtures

In preparation to host the London 2012 Olympic Games, the award-winning ExCeL London International Exhibition & Convention Centre has expanded its efforts to convert the facility to greener, more energy-efficient LED lighting, replacing 35 existing 400W high-pressure sodium (HPS) fixtures with Dialight's new 150W 14,000 lumen High Bay LEDs to better illuminate the north side exterior of the massive structure in the loading dock and traffic marshaling areas. Fruit importer overcomes rising energy costs with Dialight LED Lighting

One of the largest importers of fresh fruit in the UK, MMD Shipping's inbound facility at the City of Portsmouth handles roughly 60 percent of all bananas brought into the country. With a dozen ships that traverse the Atlantic bringing fruit from the Caribbean, MMD Shipping operates a 12 warehouse facility that receives and distributes all varieties of fresh fruit to market. With rising energy costs MMD Shipping have upgraded their old sodium lighting to new Dialight LED fixtures replacing over 400 luminaires. Read the case study here.
